Over the Chinese New Year holiday, we went to a chinese village that still celebrated chinese new year the traditional way. On the way to the village we say a lot of shelves holding sweetcorn.
When we finally got to the village, we watched the firecrackers. Once the fire crackers were over we watched the parade. There were people walking on stilts, ladies dancing and people carrying a fake empress.

After that we were assigned a family to eat lunch with. We went home with them and had a delicious lunch with dumplings,peanuts, egg, tofu, chicken and lots of other food. Too much for us to eat it all up!
After that we watched them do a show.
